A 1947 cross between C. integrifolia and C viticella by Dr F.L. Skinner in Borden, Manitoba, Canada. A good steel blue with slightly nodding 4-5"(10-12cm) flowers. The blooming time is June to September. The non clinging stems are most attractive if grown through a small shrub, or attached to a support. Mature height is 4-6' (1.5-2m).Pruning group C
